Overall very good and helpful but a) I can see that they made a very large profit from my 3rd party made fly screen (good on them I guess!) and was just a little abrupt in retort when I politely asked if I could pay with credit card hence 4 stars.
We had a blind installed in our triangular bedroom window. Cameron came when he said he would, supplied the quote when he said he would, installed the blind on the day he said he would and charged what he said he would. I couldn't have asked for more really and have no hesitation in recommending him and his company Niche Blinds.
We had Niche install mesh screens and windows in our flat. All windows had to have the screens installed backwards, which makes it difficult to open and close them from the inside. The first major problem was with one window that they did not plan properly. Now we have a huge gap at the top where the screen does not cover the window. The second problem was with a separate window where the installation was incorrect, causing a large piece of metal covering to fall off. When I called Niche to complain, they said it would cost to fix, even after I sent information about how the installation was faulty in comparison to our other windows. In the end, we actually had to contact the manufacturer and complain about Niche. Phantom Screens were wonderful in helping to rectify the issue. If we had not contacted them, Niche would still be claiming that they installed the product correctly (which they did not). Cameron is not at all professional, cracking inappropriate jokes and making fun of other contractors who were in our home at the same time. Phantom Screens are an amazing product. Just do not get them installed by this ridiculous company.
We had a very promising start with this business, they claimed they could provide a solution for our windows. We placed an order with a 50% deposit (thousands not hundreds). 6 weeks later they came back and informed us they could not provide our order. They then suggested and alternative solution which again they could't provide then finally came back with an further alternative solution mounted to the outside of the house which was twice the price. This whole process has taken over 3 months where they have been holding our deposit. We have requested that the deposit be returned in full and they have tried to deduct their costs from our deposit. I have tried to contact Cameron at the company and he has hung up on me and is now avoiding my calls and and refusing to refund our deposit in full. I am posting this as I would hate anybody else to be in this situation as nobody at the company will talk to me..BEWARE!!
